Title: Pastel Clear Morning
Description: This
lighthouse is the Santa Cruz Breakwater Light, also known as the Walton
Lighthouse and the Santa Cruz Harbor Lighthouse, in California. I
stopped by on a very clear morning. In the photo, the water is a
beautiful pastel blue, like a faded cornflower color. The rocky area is a
nice deep charcoal grey, the sun highlighting the various nooks and
crannies. Although a photography class would stress never to center the
subject, I think that is exactly where this lighthouse belongs: front
and center.
